As a 501 (C) (3) Non-profit, we offer the opportunity of sponsorship for resident fees of Veterans, Individuals with disabilities and recovery residents in need of financial assistance to access Independent Supported living homes. 

For people with disabilities, housing barriers are a significant concern. Without affordable, accessible housing in the community, many individuals face the risk of institutionalization or homelessness.

Across the nation, an affordability crisis affects many people with disabilities. Approximately 4.8 million non-institutionalized individuals who depend on federal monthly Supplemental Security Income (SSI) have an average income of only about $9,156 per year, which is far too low to afford rent in any housing market nationwide let alone supported assistance.

Many individuals with IDD live with aging caregivers (aged 60 and older). As this generation ages, their adult children with IDD may be increasingly at risk of institutionalization or homelessness.

The availability of affordable, accessible housing is significantly lower than the demand, leaving too many individuals with IDD either institutionalized, homeless, or in “worst case” housing situations—paying excessively for rent while struggling to afford essential needs or living in severely inadequate conditions.
